Come hear about families that attended the “Schairer School (also known as the Sholes School) before it closed in 1947.  We will share stories from recorded interviews in the 2002 Oral History Project with students and teachers that actually spent their school days in this one-room schoolhouse. We will highlight the: Schairer Family, the Reiser Family, the Harvey Sisters, and teacher, Mary Ellen Ormond Wolff.

The Sholes School has a suggested donation of $3 per adult and $1 per child and includes a visit to the Durant-Peterson House Museum.
