Volunteer at the Fabyan JAPANESE GARDEN
Do you love history, tranquility, and telling stories?
If you do, you would be a perfect fit for a volunteer at the Fabyan Japanese Garden in Geneva! As a docent, you will welcome visitors, ensure their safety, and answer questions to the best of your ability.
The Fabyan Japanese Garden is an outdoor one-acre garden designed by Taro Otsuka in 1910 with spectacular foliage in the heart of the Fabyan Forest Preserve. During their time in Geneva, the Fabyans frequently hosted guests for tea ceremonies or a peaceful walk. The structures in the garden are either original or rebuilt from photos of the originals. NOTE: Photo shoots and weddings are not available during our public open hours.
Please join us in making the popular Fabyan Japanese Garden available for the public to enjoy!

We also need volunteers indoors at the Fabyan Villa Museum.
