Volunteer at the Fabyan Villa

A 1907 Frank Lloyd-Wright re-designed home

Do you love history, local culture, and telling stories? What about the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright and his prairie style? Or perhaps your interest is in Japanese culture or code-breaking?

If any of these caught your interest, you would be a perfect fit for a docent at the Fabyan Villa Museum here in Geneva! As a docent, you will greet visitors on self-guided tours, ensure their safety and that of the museum’s collection, and answer questions to the best of your ability.

The Villa tells the fascinating story of Colonel George and Nelle Fabyan in their 1907 Frank Lloyd Wright re-designed home. The Fabyans enjoyed a variety of passions on their 300-acre estate “Riverbank” from exotic animals to gardening to code-breaking during World War I to building a levitation device (yes, seriously!).

Please join us in making magic here at the Fabyan Villa!

We also need volunteers outdoors in the Fabyan Japanese Garden.
