You are invited to warm yourself by the fire in our 1843 historic pioneer home. Enjoy the sights and smells as we prepare foods over the fires in the hearth and on the old wood-burning stove. Take time to play some old-fashioned games and learn about what the pioneers did to keep themselves warm in the winter.

The Sholes School Museum will be open for you to practice your cursive on a slate, read from the McGuffey’s Readers, and recite some wonderful memory gems.

The Durant House Museum has a suggested donation of $3 per adult and $1 per child for special events. Fees include a visit to the Sholes School Museum as well.
